Below is the step by step guide to growing melons in Minecraft. So follow the same steps to get it.
Step 1: Firstly, players need to find out a small area of water or even players can create their own.
Step 2: Now players need to choose a hoe in your Hotbar and prepare the ground around the water. With the help of the following controls on your game controller players can use the hoe:
- Right-click on the block for Java Edition (PC/Mac), Windows 10 Edition, Education Edition.
- Tap on the block for Pocket Edition (PE).
- Press the LT button for Xbox 360, Xbox One
- Press the L2 button for PS3
- Press the L2 button for PS4
- Press the ZL button for Wii U
- Press the ZL button for Nintendo Switch
Step 3: Now you are ready to plant the melon seeds. Players have to choose the melon seeds in your Hotbar and plant them on the block of soil on which you previously used a spade. and then right-click on the block for Java Edition (PC/Mac), Windows 10 Edition, Education Edition. Press the LT button for Xbox 360, Xbox One. Press the L2 button for PS3. and the same as PS4.
Step 4: Now the melon seeds will slowly germinate over time. However, we can speed it up a bit by fertilizing the seeds with bone meal. Right-click on the plant in Java Edition (PC/Mac), Windows 10 Edition, Education Edition. It doesn’t make your melon fully develop like other foods, but it does grow stems quickly. Now the melon stems grow.
Players now notice that the block of full-grown weeds appears attached to each stem. Keep in mind, that you’ll need to make sure there’s a block of dirt or grass next to the stem for the weeds to appear.
